Up and downs...

This week is the busiest week i had ever since i grad.. other than that this week there's lots of up and downs too.. emotionally.. Had good friday worship service on thurs night.. This year's theme is "Tenebrae". This is a latin word which means shadows. The main purpose of this year's theme is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story where we are brought through how Jesus died for us on the cross in a chronological manner. In the service we include solemn hymns, sermon, holy communion along with scripture narrated in between them. The whole service is divided into seven parts which were represented by the 7 candles on the stage. Each part, there is a assigned reader to the scripture. I am one of those who are narrating it. The candle in the middle represent Jesus, which will be last candle to be blown off after each scripture is being read.

So i enjoyed the whole service and i like this concept too.. There's acapella singing too.. think is fun singing with my brothers... In the end, the worship hall will be in total darkness when the last candle is blown off.. This is what we have for the whole evening.. just need to remind myself of why Jesus died on the cross for us.. i always believe in a person really need to know what is god's love before we can really go and love the pple around us.. if you can even love a god who just died on the cross for us, who constantly forgive us our sins how can we expect ourselves to love pple around us esp our partners who are also sinners... hmmmm....

Good friday.. I was appointed to lead a praise and worship session for about 1.5 to 2 hours.. i really crack my brain to think and source for new ideas of how to lead this service.. finally thought of using The Last Supper as the setting for the praise and worship session. So choose and prepared the slides too.. But the most impt and difficult part is to prepare verse and what to say during the session.. so source for materials and added some of the biblical understanding to it.. All thanks to my brothers, terence, zhaoqi, weili to help me out before and during the session.. Zq helped me to source for songs and help me with the ppt and the video.. he did a video with a song added to it as a intro for the session that night.. wl help with lots of stuff too.. too many.. lol.. and terence played the piano that night.. although there are some problems during the session.. but i think overall we had achieved what god wants and that's the whole purpose of it.. thanks... Personally, when i am preparing the materials and the verses, i gained alot of insights to it.. especially at this period of my life..

hmmmm.. just some random thoughts.. maybe having a blog also dont allow me to just say how i feel about something... realised somethings which i think i should not really this week. it just make me more troubled.. 1st time i cant sleep for a few nights thinking of this problem?.. dont even know if i should term it as a problem.. i seldom cant sleep when i am tired.. i will just sit and sleep and wake up in the morning.. even during my FYP i will jus snore and sleep.. lol..
hmmm. alright.. i will let go.. ok.. will write more about good friday event when i am in the mood..
